Holas Underwear was the opposite of beachwear. Where beachwear demanded attention, underwear earned it quietly—through fit, fabric, and function.

I led design and creative direction, developing a collection across three material tiers: Modal/Cotton essentials, Italian Viscose/Cashmere seamless, and Silk luxury. Classic silhouettes with obsessive attention to how fabric behaves on the body.

The range: Briefs and boxers starting with Modal/Cotton blend for everyday comfort. Core palette of white, burgundy, and forest green with black accents. Woven cotton with vertical ribbing for textural interest. Italian seamless in snake jacquard—luxury construction without performance aesthetic. Silk pieces with mother-of-pearl buttons for premium positioning.

Print development focused on intimate scale—marble effects, engineered stripes, micro-squares, silver dots, tonal logo allover. Graphics designed for how they read up close, not borrowed from outerwear.

Fit strategy meant multiple rises and leg cuts tested on actual bodies, not just size charts. Prototyping focused on seam placement, elastic recovery, and how waistbands performed during movement.

Commercial structure: Entry-level Modal essentials in core colors (white, burgundy, forest green). Mid-tier differentiation through seamless and woven construction. Silk collection provided aspiration and repositioned the brand beyond basics.

Holas attracted men who understood quality in underwear means materials you can feel and construction you can trust. The breadth—from accessible essentials to Silk—let customers enter at different price points without compromising on craftsmanship.
