The technical work: Revised sizing across the range. Working alongside the measurements technician, adjusted key measurements, improved overall fit, and refined gradings to ensure consistency across sizes. Sourced better lycra fabrics within budget constraints—swimwear-appropriate stretch, recovery, and chlorine resistance. Improved construction details: reinforced stress points, better lining choices, functional adjustability.
Created tech packs for every style. Coordinated lab dips to translate Pantone colors accurately to lycra. Managed strike-offs for print quality. Conducted fittings and revised patterns as needed. Liaised with manufacturers throughout sampling and production.

Product strategy evolution: To improve sales and customer loyalty, helped guide the brand toward separating bikini sets into individual tops and bottoms with distinct SKUs, allowing customers to mix sizes—solving a major fit issue for women who need different sizes for top and bottom.

What made it work: Understanding the fast-fashion model. Animal prints—especially leopard—are reliable commercial anchors. Seasonal florals and gradients respond to trends. Offering variety in silhouette, coverage, and support gives customers choice within a €15-30 price range.
The category needed elevation, not revolution: better fabrics, smarter construction, contemporary prints.
Commercial design that actually fits.
